ActiveBob.....It's always Raining!

head_left_image

Oh my goodness

I was on vacation for the last six days and my inbox is PISSED at me. It appears that there is no end to it. I was even allowed an hour a day to try sort things out while I was gone and pass on the most vital emails.........it didn't work.

So here I am on a saturday, in the office trying to catch up. If you sent me something in the last week and I haven't responded, it's because I didn't care.......haha!

Hopefully I will be able to dig out by Monday or Tuesday. I thought I would be refreshed but apparently Kelan doesn't understand the concept of a relaxing vacation just yet at one year old. He had all new stuff to terrorize and kept us on our feet pretty much the whole week. :-)

Bob, vacation?  Real men don't need vacations!  Just kidding.  I'm glad to be able to take the day to go tubing tomorrow on the Shenandoah River with some friends.  August has been incredibly busy.  I thought everyone is supposed to be on vacation -- seems like everyone wants to buy a house!  That's a good thing, not a bad thing.

Bob, I hate when that happens with my InBox. I'm the worst. I take my laptop with me on vacation.

Did you come to Idaho while on Vacation?

Taking a one year old on vacation is a lot of work isn't it?  I'm glad my baby is three......it's getting a little easier.

Bob... I wanted to thank you for getting back to me. Not sure why it would take so long, when you probably only received 10 to 15 e-mails...  I mean, 10,000 to 15,000 e-mails.

Seriously, and if you need some help digging out, I can help some... isn't that what AR is all about?

I can understand that!  I have 3 little kids myself! 2, 5 & 8 years old.

I am still behind too on email and I was not even on vacation!  IF that makes you feel any better.

Your Rainer in Tampa,

Katrina

Bob -- When the kids can amuse themselves and don't really care if you are around -- you know, teens -- your vacations will get more relaxing.  When I got back from my very relaxing one last week, I had the post-vacation blues really BAD!  I expect our family vacations to get quieter and quieter, though. ::sigh::  Revel in the noise, Bob.

Are you bringing the family down to DisneyWorld... I mean the NAR convention?

I hope you had a good vacation... and the only important emails are from me.

This is probably one of those times where you need a vacation from the vacation!

I am in that email queue you are desparately trying to get through...although I'm not pissed, just patiently waiting.  That's the beauty of old age....you learn to patiently wait because you've raised your kids and they have taught you much...but definitely patience!

I hate when that happens! I remember the time I took a cruise and wanted to be reachable by my clients. I went to my cell phone company and they added some code to make my phone work globally. I checked to make sure the ship had WiFi, and thought I had everything handled. Well, my phone didn't work, the e-mail was sporadic, and I came to to find hundreds of messages waiting for me.

Even the best laid plans go go WAY off track! You have my sympathy.

I remember my first vacation with baby.  Tina found markers in my purse while we were sleeping and colored the sheets.  She was quiet...but messy :)

Welcome back.  Listen to that email zero video a few times.  That should get you moving in the right direction.  Or better yet...forward them all to Jerry LOL!

I remember those "vacation" days with 2 little boys.  I would be so exhausted when we returned home.  Then the inevitable question would come from one or both of my little guys:  "When can we go again?".

Now I wish I had those days back with them :-)

Welcome back Bob.

I asked a question about a week ago but it's all figured out :)

I will trade you Kelan for son with college expenses.  Baby terrorists are the best, just want you to know that and not figure it out 17 years to late :)

Sorry Everyone! We hadn't taken a vacation in 3 years and I had to give him rules!! I know he missed splashin' around, so it's nice to be back. (Not to mention, it became slightly reminiscent of National Lampoon at points) Thus, I relinquish him as my hostage and turn him back over to all of you! Just play nice!

Good for you for going on vacation - but I feel your pain with the Inbox from hell!  I'll be at a business meeting for the next three days and am CRINGING at the thought of what I'll return to!  You do a tremendous job - sorry there are so many people screaming at you!

Take care -- hey - one day we need to finish that article!  :O)  Julie
